 A private, nonprofit corporation formed in 1965. The mission of JFCAC is to assist low-income individuals , families and communities to achieve their highest level of self-sufficiency.

JFCAC receives funds from federal, state, and local sources. Coordination with other agencies and groups, and other local resources, help keep programs close to the communities they serve.

 

Housing 

 Offers rental assistance in existing houses, mobile homes and apartments so that safe, decent and sanitary living conditions can be affordable for low-income families

Energy Assistance

Programs are available to help low-income families with heating and cooling bills.

Head Start

   is a child development program for children ages three through five form low-income families.

Women, Infants, & Children food supplemental program (WIC)

   a health and nutrition program for Women, Infants and Children, aimed at preventing problems in growth and development.

Weatherization

   lessens the impact of the high cost of energy on low-income families.
