Communications

The Sheriff’s Office Communications center is operated by 22 full time employees. 

The Center dispatches for:

·         Boles Fire

·         Gerald Rosebud Fire

·         Beaufort Leslie Fire

·         New Haven Berger Fire

·         Sullivan Fire

·         Union Fire

·         Gerald Ambulance

·         St. Clair Ambulance

·         Union Ambulance

·         New Haven Ambulance

·         Franklin County Sheriff’s Office

·         Union Police (evening)

·         St. Clair Police

·         Gerald Police

·         New Haven Police.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Communications section answered approximately 30,000, 911 calls in 2003.  Total phone calls received for the year 2003 were approximately 600,000.  This translates to an average of 17 calls received per hour for each of the four dispatch stations.
